Culinary blog for asian meal
welcome to dr. baskaran pillai’s human evolution web series on nambu botanicals. today we are going to talk about herbal health, herbalhealth for the mind, for the body, and for the spirit. in this webinar, what we wantto do is to go over some of the education for the foundation of nambu botanicals, whatmakes us special, how we are founded on some of the principles of siddha technology, siddhamedicine, it’s a siddha health system founded in southern india.also what does it really mean to take an herb that has the principles and the crafting ofthe siddha lineage in it, and how it can actually affect, help and benefit the mind and thebody. and we are going to go into a little bit more deeply how that also affects yourkarma, how it affects your chakra systems,
how you can do all sorts of clearing, throughoutour nambu botanicals formulas, in emotional health, and psychological health.i wanted to talk a little bit about myself. so i am a director of vopec pharmaceuticals, which is an herbal pharmaceutical company founded by dr. pillai in south india, i’malso a co-founder of nambu botanicals along with dr. pillai who is our chairman, and actuallythis company in getting me involved in herbs wasn’t something i haven’t traditionallybeen involved in. i really spent most of my career in technology.i had my own companies, i had two companies in manhattan on wall street working in investmentbanking. i took a trip to india in 2001. that trip and immersing myself in all of the vedictechnologies that are here, had really just
profoundly changed my life and made me lookvery deeply into bringing these technologies to the west. it was really my passion to bringand scientise these technologies so they could be understood, consumed and benefitted byeverybody in the west. two of the health systems here ayurveda, and siddha medicine, mostlysiddha medicine, i got more deeply involved in. and became familiar with, ended up goingto the hills where these herbals grew, interacting with siddha masters, who know how to workwith these herbal formulas, how to prepare the formulas, and all of the astounding benefits,-health benefits that these have given to people. and that’s what’s here in india.nambu botanicals, we manufacture in the united states, but we have some of the siddha principles, and some of the siddha technologies embedded
in our formulas, and we are going to talkmore about that as we go along here. so herbs are alive, and in india they givehealth to our mind, our body, and our soul. how it actually happens is the vibrations, and frequencies from the years of worship, and chanting and mantras- basically the systemof life here, had made the herbs and plants that grow here very, very sacred, and fullof really mysterious benefit, and to the energy body, to the soul, and to the astral body, and to the mind. so everything is intimately connected from the body to the mind, to yoursoul, to your psychological, everything has this web of interrelation. what we do is weuse a 5000 year old lineage of herbs and diagnostic health technology. what this does, - it empowersour herbal products, and releases the nuclear
potential.so primarily how we do that in the west since everything we manufacture in us is fda reviewed, gmp, cmpg facilities, and do a lot of testing to our herbs. we also put sounds, vibrations, into our formulas like i said, to release the nuclear energy. now this is somethingthat we have borrowed from the siddha masters, and of course dr. pillai is an enlightenedsiddha master. so we’ve borrowed this technology with permission to apply to our herbs to givethe benefit to the west of being able to interact, of being able to have an experience with anherb that has a strong vibration to it. which will also give protection, like i said, tothe energy body, and to the subtle body, it also gives quite a bit of the health benefitsas well to the organs, to the tissues, to
the cells, and so forth.nambu is short for nambunayaki. dr. pillai chose to name his botanical company nambubotanicals after this goddess nambunayaki. her shrine is in south india in rameshwaramwhich is a little island off of south india. it is also happens to be where dr. pillaigrew up in rameshwaram, and this shrine she has people come in to visit her into rameshwaramto seek her blessings, - blessings for health, for physical, for emotional, and for karmicsuffering as well. and so our company is aptly named as nambu botanicals after the goddessof healing. our mission is to help people find a moreconscious way to lead their lives, to be able to not accept compromise in their lives, tobe able to change thought patterns that aren’t
healthy, to be able to change behaviors andactions that aren’t healthy, and to be able to replace those with audacious goals, withpatterns, and thoughts, and actions and behaviors that actually raise you to another level.so why is herbal heath important? in this side we talk that 85% of americans don’tget enough nutrients from their diets, with herbs you can replace that nutrient gap inmany different ways. and some of the ways that herbs help your body function are byreducing free radicals, by improving the cellular health, by preventing a cognitive decline,or boosting memory, or just by allowing your cognitive functions to work much better. andalso working on the organs, the tissues, the layer of nervous system, the herbs have afar and wide reaching benefit for the body,
and the mind, and the brain.so herbal sound infusion is sort of a fancy word for saying that we combine phonemes,or power words, sacred words, with herbs. so if you were on some of the previous humanevolution webinars, you know all about phonemes. and why they are actually important to herbaltherapy and to nambu botanicals herbs is because it increases the potency of the natural effectof the herbs. and it also seems to have quite an effect on bringing out protective and detoxifyingqualities in the subtle, or the auric body. so that’s sort of the body that surroundsyour physical body. now what we’ve done, we’ve done some studies.we’re starting to take up some scientific studies in a lab at a university here in chennai, india. and some of the early studies that
we did, we wanted to feature one of them.if you go to the next slide we talk about herbal sound infusion.so these particular photos are taken from kirlian photography which is a collectionof photographic techniques used to capture the phenomenon of electronic coronal discharges, and what that really means is- it diagnosis, and sort of pictorial form shows the levelof spiritual energy of the picture that is being photographed. here we have our turmericcalled: “hi-healthâ€. and on the top two, the ones that don’t have any color, thathave grey background, those are the control sample on the left which is turmeric thatwe bought in the market, and on the right is our hi-health turmeric, with the grey backgrounds.just below them is, after taking the photography,
which will show the energy of each of theseherbs and as it says here in the caption, “the green light shows the presence of healingproperties.†and how that is deduced is that the left picture here from the controlsample has the left side of the picture is mostly orange and the right side of the pictureis green. in the hi-health sample, on the right, quite a bit of the whole area is green, basically meaning that the greenness of the photo gives the pictorial representation ina photograph form of the energy of the herb, the spiritual energy of the herb. so someof our earlier ways of photographing and seeing the effectiveness of our herb we used thiskirlian photography. we are moving into much more sophisticated ways to studying our herbs, and in western traditional medical practices,
as well. so i look forward to sharing thatwith you once we have our results, or some of the results from our studies done at theuniversity here. [dr. pillai:] i feel fulfilled in my teachingcareer at this point in time. now i am into herbs discovered by the siddhas for enlightenment, herbs for enlightenment. there’s one particular herb called eclipta alba, many siddhas havetalked about it. and the one siddha who demonstrated to the entire world that you can turn thebody into light by just turning his body into light in 1874, is swami ramalingam. he saysyou don’t have to do anything but use this particular herb called eclipta alba, but thenyou should have faith in the guru. and the guru will not reveal the secret of how itworks even if you just go and stay with him
for years, and years. because it is one ofthe herbs that has been secretly, the knowledge has been secretly guarded.but i have come here to this earth plane to make it available to everyone. it can do miraclesin terms of changing your karma. it can give you access to the astral body. it will cleanup the chakras. so it is something like, using this herb, is something like watering theroot to enjoy the fruit. now what we are doing is we are just working externally by wateringthe trunk, fruits, and flowers. it’s not going to work. so you have to go to the veryorigin of life, consciousness, and what is that? you have to go to the soul, and onceyou have addressed the soul, then you have addressed everything. and this herb will actat the soul level, at the astral level, and
then at the bodily level. and at the bodilylevel what it does, - we have research, at least 50 researches that are worth presentingto you. you can go and check it for yourself. but i don’t care too much about those scientificresearches. i know this herb is going to solve all problems.it is going to address your karma. because there is financial karma, there is relationshipkarma, there is health karma. all of these karmas will be addressed by this herb. ofcourse the body is what is tangible. then we have researched it, so what it does tothe brain, just go and look at the research what it does to the brain, just and what itdoes to the body. so this is the only herb that can address different problems of thebody and finally, swami ramalingnam says:
it will give you the light body.†it willdo the miracle of transforming the meat body into the light body, but then you have tobe very committed, and you have to follow the rules, and once you do this, this is reallya gift from god. i recommend that everyone should use this herb, and then change theirkarma, change their mind, and change their body. god bless.a little bit about what the siddha history is. dr. pillai is an enlightened tamil siddhamaster from south india. and this siddha lineage is really an unbroken ancient lineage of spiritualscientists, or alchemists, who have reached the pinnacle of human evolution. i think thatthis probably came from a wikipedia. and dr. pillai, as i mentioned, he is a siddha, asiddha master. he’s unleashing the siddha
techniques. now, siddha in this case withnambu botanicals has to do with herbs, and bodies of healing. siddha also, and thereare some techniques that have sound vibrations. there are different siddha techniques thathave to do with how you can use some vedic knowledge to remedy the body, and remedy certainsituations that we get into as humans that are somewhat undesirable.so a siddha, in and of itself, refers to a person, a person who has attained a fairlyhigh level of human evolution achievement. they are said to have some siddhi powers.siddhi powers are some super-normal powers that allow them to do various things likehealing, of course, which is one of them. what is the siddha system of health?and now a little bit more about what’s in
the siddha system of health, or siddha medicine.and what we are going to do today is we are going to talk with a siddha doctor, and iwant everyone in the west to have a kind of appreciation for what happens, and the typeof education that a siddha doctor goes through because some people sort of, i think, feelthat compared to traditional medicine, it has ales robust educational process, but thisis not true. in talking with our siddha doctor, dr. shailaja, she has had 8 years of medicaleducation. and that’s 5 years of undergraduate, and 3 years as a masters, and an internship, and all of this is at mainstream medical universities in south india. so sometimes yes, you canget traditional medicine degrees at other places, other universities. this one thatdr. shailaja got was actually the largest
body of universities, and medical universities,in south india. so this is where she got her siddha medicine degree. and as i mentioned,it’s based on the principles and practices discovered and written down thousands of yearsago by people who were regarded as saints, people who have fairly high evolutionary status, and who attained this degree of wisdom. and it is said that there were 18 siddhasoriginally, and it is said that what happens with a siddha master and how he discoveredthe whole herbology, and what herbs to help the human body, is that the plants would actuallytalk to them. so they would be walking in the forest, and because they have more powers, they have this ability to communicate with plant systems. and the plants themselves asthe story goes, would tell the siddha what
that plant could be used for. how they basicallysacrifice their lives so that better health could be achieved by humans.so now what i’d like to do is to hear from our siddha doctor, dr. shailaja.i want to welcome dr. shailaja, a siddha medicine doctor, with east west, and east west is asister company to nambu botanicals. east west institute specializes in integrating eastern, and western methods of diagnosing and prescribing natural formulas for health problems, particularlyherbs. dr. shailaja thank you so much for being withus today, and i’d like you if you could just give a little bit of brief summary onthe education that you go through as a siddha doctor here in india, in south india, so thatthe western people can understand that it’s
a truly robust curriculum, and has many tiesalso with modern medicine. i’ll let you describe a little bit about your education.[dr. shailaja:] thank you beth. i am honored to be here to make a pathway between the easternsystem of medicine, and western system of medicine. i had my 8 years of academic curriculumin siddha medicine, which is 5 ⽠years undergraduate course, and 3 years masters course. i hadmastered in pharmacological aspect of siddha medicine, so to give a sharpened directionabout the academic curriculum of siddha medicine in south india. i had to say all of the subjectscovered in the medicine. so it will be a – the subject itself is an integrated way of learning.it will be learning a system of medicine, traditional medicine as one part, and thesiddha medicine a deeper part.
so the first year of syllabus will be havingphilosophical part of siddha – their history, and what are the philosophies of siddhas.and then we’ll be learning about the medicinal botany, how the plants and trees, and variousparts of herbs can be used in medicine with the modern scientific knowledge. then thereis biochemistry that we’ll be learning. then secondarily of course we’ll be learningthe anatomy and physiology of the body of both siddha and the modern way, and then 3rdyear, finally we’ll be learning about the pharmacology part which comprises raw materialsfrom the plant kingdom, minerals, and materials from the animal kingdom, then we’ll be learningabout the toxicology, forensic medicine, hygiene, social, and parenteral medicine, and pathologyof both siddha, and modern. the final year
is the huge one comprising of medicine, whichcomprises general medicine, special medicine, surgery, gynecology, and pediatrics. so itis a whole thing that we are learning in under graduation, and then we have academicallyrecognized specialized courses in siddha. so i have completed my masters in gopalam.[beth d:] so that’s 5 years of siddha medicine education, and then 3 years of masters, andyou do a 6 month internship too, right? so that’s pretty robust. what drew you to siddhamedicine? what attracted you, - what was that special thing that made you want to get intosiddha medicine, and practice siddha medicine? [dr. shalaija:] i come from the southern partof india, kanya kumari, which is a hub for siddha medicine, and regular medicine, andit is a major hub for the indigenous medicines
of india. so basically i am hailing from atraditional medical family to the very south of india. so since i have my own traditionalfamily history, i got more interested to learn from a course from a recognized institute.so there was a point that i had to go on with the siddha medicine, then once i got intothe siddha medicine, i was very surprised and fascinated about siddhas. siddhas arespiritual, alchemical, philosophical adepts. they excel in many fields of medicine becausesiddha medicine does not really comprise the medicine to be taken into the oral part. siddhamedicine comprises a greater thing about the philosophy, astrology, panja pati, tantra, mantra, many metaphysical arts are there. everything comprises, everything is containedinto the siddha medicine.
so i saw there are huge things in siddha medicineonce i got into the academic curriculum. so my 3rd year i’ll be learning more aboutthe pharmacological aspect of the siddha medicine. so everything will be in the poetic linesof siddhas. there are 18 siddhas, and they have given their contributions as oral tradition,as palm leaf manuscript, paper manuscript, stone inscriptions, and also now many booksare available in a printed form. so when i was studying in my 3rd year, the 3rd yearof my under graduation, i came across many conditions for which the siddha answers ina very good way. so that was a basic thing that drew me a great interest to learn aboutthe siddha. [beth d:] thank-you. also i hear that these18 siddhas,- primarily saint agastya, is the
father of siddha medicine. as i understandit, what they would actually do would be to go into the forest, see a plant, and havethe evolution to be able to look at that plant and see what conditions in the body that plantwould actually remedy. and then they would take that and write it down on palm leavesway back when, which was about 5000 years ago. i know you also have a personal interestin getting into the ancient language, and being able to look at these palm leaves, oractually this poetic language. is it true that everything from siddha medicine stemsfrom, or much of what’s in siddha medicine, stems from these incredibly, wise bodies ofknowledge? dr. shaija: yeah, that’s a good questionbeth. i could say that the history of tamil,
tamil is one of the classical languages ofthe world. i think many people will know that tamil is one of the classical languages ofthe world, so we can say that the history of tamil language is the history of tamilmedicine. because all of the poetic lines of the siddha were done in tamil language,so if you want to trace back the history of tamil medicine, we have to trace back thehistory of tamil language. the history of tamil language dates back to 5000 years bcwith the grammatical text called esteral capitum. so esteral capitum gives you enormous informationabout the human life, and also about the language. so this is the point of the very ancient danditalcapium is a literature called as agathiyam which is extinct now due to many tsunamis,or because of many natural calamities that
would have taken place many years back, theagathiyam is lost today. but the name agathiyam was written by sage agathiya.the sage agathiya is called as the father of siddha medicine, like hippocrates for westernmedicine. so he’s the first to give enormous contributions to siddha medicine. then comesthe 18 siddhas. agasthiya is the primary siddha, is the prime one. then comes thirumoolar, bhogar, ramadeva, punakesar, punikanar. there are 18 siddhas. the 18 siddhas – the number18 has a spiritual value in india. 18 is called the 18 kind of enlightenments, accomplishments,or stages they would have taken in their spiritual saiva. so the spiritual people they have givenenormous contributions in siddha. the sage thirumoolar, he emphasizes in onlya healthy body remains a healthy soul. if
you want to excel in a spiritual life, youshould have a healthy body, but in tamil we say: 28:16 (tamil saying)28:19. - that isthe healthy body is very important. for that the siddhas say there are a few herbs, a fewminerals, and a few animal products which are available in nature to maintain a betterhealth, to keep away from diseases, and to increase our aging, and also to prevent orpostpone the changes of aging - like greying of hair, wrinkling of skin. these anti-agingcome under a very simple context called: anti-aging medicines. so this is the way the siddhashave given their contributions. [beth d.:] okay. great. thanks dr. shailaja.i just want to circle back around on something that’s unique about eastern medicine, oreastern bodies of knowledge as it relates
to therapy, and health. there is a mind-bodyconnection, and at nambu botanicals we talk a lot about that. so this mind-body connectionreally means that it’s kind of vice versa. if you have a state of mind that’s not balanced,it actually can cause a condition in the body, or a problem in the body. visa versa, if youhave, you know, let’s say intestinal problems and how that can affect our mind state, youknow, kind of make us nervous and that kind of thing.can you talk about a couple of the herbs that nambu botanicals has and that’s: ecliptaalba, i think you call it bhringraj, or kerasali in tamil. can you just talk about how thesetwo herbs and the mind- body connection works with each of them?[dr. shalija:] so with this question from
beth, i have to answer with a simple conceptof siddha about vata, pitta, kapha. vata, pitta, kapham is called as 3 basic humoursinside the body. a balance in these 3 humours maintains a good health. if there is any problemwith the body it is reflected as some health conditions in us. the eclipta alba, or kerasali,in tamil we say it as keraslingani. this herb has the property to reduce pittam inside thebody. this pittam is responsible to maintain our gastric secretions, it is responsibleto maintain vision, sharpened vision, and to boost memory, and to make good decisions.if any problem with the pittam arises there will be in the gi pitta, gi tract, and alsowith eyes and memory. so eclipta alba is a herb which will reduce pittam inside the body.so it automatically boosts, and helps in keeping
away from conditions of gastro-intestinaltract, it will help you to maintain vision, and also to improve your memory. so this isthe point why eclipta alba should be taken regularly. and if you do a pharmacologicalanalysis of this herb, it has got good hepato-protective properties, which are helpful for gastro-intestinalconditions, and it also boosts memory because it has neuro-protective properties, and nephron-protectiveproperties. and it is also rich in anti-oxidants which helps in free radicals scavenging inthe body, which is the basic culprit to cause many unwanted conditions, and health problemsinside the body. so eclipta alba is a very good herb which can be taken as a supplement,or it can be taken into anything that is a dietary supplement. because in india we supplythis herb as basic greens to take in culinary
purpose. so it will automatically help inmaintaining the health, and prevent or keep away from diseases.and then if we go onto the bacopa monnieri, which is also called as brahmi, this alsohas the same properties like eclipta alba which is bitter in taste, so it automaticallyreduces pittam inside the body, which helps in improving cognition and memory. so theeclipta alba, and bacopa monnieri, are both anti-oxidant herbs. we call it as a kaya kalpaherb, as an elixir, or rejuvenating herb in siddha medicine.[beth d.:] great, great. i think actually both eclipta alba and bacopa are two productsof nambu botanicals, and when dr. shailaja talks about pittam, she actually means fire.so it’s something that’s heat, so when
heat gets into the body, and how too muchheat can actually have a destructive effect on certain parts of the body. so i think weare almost running out of time, and i just want to thank dr. shailaja for this conversationtoday. and i look forward to having deeper conversations with dr. shailaja and more aboutsiddha medicine in the future. thank-you. [dr. shailaja:] thank-you beth. i thank-youonce again for giving me an opportunity to explore, and to expand the siddha medicalsystem to the western world, and for giving me an opportunity for this platform. thank-you.[beth d.:] in traditional medicine the mind and the body are intimately connected, andso what we have done at nambu botanicals we wanted to do something really practical andreally fun that anyone, even if you don’t
take our herbs, you can take advantage ofthis. and that is how to find out what juice you can drink to best remove some of the karmicroadblocks that you face. and how this works is there is sort of a simple questionnaire, and then our specialists review your answers and they find out what the karmic roadblocksare, and we recommend the best juice for you. on the backend this is a methodology thatcombines a little bit of vedic astrology, and some siddha diagnostic techniques, aswell as some ayurvedic techniques, and we have 4, 5 doctors on staff. we have 2 ayurvedadoctors, and 2 siddha doctors, and a western medical doctor who has sort of devised andcreated this methodology. and we wanted to put it out on our website,so like i said, people could take advantage
of it. and why this actually applies to yourkarma is that since the mind, and body are connected, whenever you eat or drink something, particularly something natural of course then it’s going to have an effect on the bodyand there are basically 3 constitutions in the body: fire, air, and water, and each foodsubstance that you eat, can create and increase, or a decrease, a sort of an imbalance in these3 elements in your body. so we went through and we kind of redesigneda new methodology based on the principles of traditional healing, and we put it intothis juice part of our site so that people can take advantage of, you know, be able todrink juice that makes them to have more energy, that promotes weight loss if that’s whatthey are looking for, doesn’t give a bloating
effect, or just general wellness, better cognitive, and more creative abilities,. so all of this, all of these things that i just mentionedactually can be affected by what you eat, and what you drink. so we wanted to give peoplea really practical way to interface with that and be able to get a recommendation becauseeverybody drinks juice, whether it’s a smoothie in the morning, or maybe you just have itfor lunch, or for breakfast, or for something. it’s a common food item for most peopleall over the world particularly all over the world, in the west, and in the east. so iam inviting you to go and check that out. go ahead and enter in your details so we canhelp you pick the right juice that will make you feel your optimum today.and now a little bit about karma removal.
so dr. pillai mentions that our herbs removethe karma in the body, and how that happens is since our herbs have the ability to workwith the energy body, and detoxify that energy body in the astral body, and we formulatedthe herbs for the chakras. so basically the pools of energy from your energy body arestored in your chakras, and the chakras are sort of cones of energy, pools of energy incertain areas of your body, each chakra holds a set of sort of mental, psychological, physicaltraits, or characteristics, of the person. and when you are born, through vedic astrology,we can see where some of the blocks are in the body based on some of the sort of behaviorsand ways that we think, and even perform in day to day life. so what nambu botanicalsdoes is our herbs help with the subtle body,
help with the physical body, and remove karmathat we have that’s stored in our physical body of course. so extra healing for the organs, and for the tissue, for the cells, for our brain, but also on the subtle body’s side,we give protection and healing to the subtle body which is body, the subtle body is wherewe also hold our karma, or where our karma can enter us.and all karma really means is strong thought patterns. originally it’s sort of this frequency,or vibration that comes to us that makes us think a thought, and then from that thougha whole chain of reactions happen from behaviors to reactions, to relationships, to even financialsuccess, to physical health, to where you live. all of this is determined basicallyfrom a thought, and how you use your thought
patterns.so at nambu botanicals our herbs are formulated with particular phonemes, particular sounds, and for a particular part of the body so that we can alleviate and help with that area, the characteristic, or traits, that are stored in that part of the body called chakras. andchange your thoughts, which subsequently change your actions, behavior that changes the thingsthat we attract towards us. so that’s how nambu botanicals helps in karma removal.in traditional medicine the mind and the body are intimately connected. and so, what we’vedone at nambu botanicals, we wanted to do something really practical and really funthat even if you don’t want to take our herbs, you can take advantage of this, andthat is how to find out what juice you can
drink to bet remove some of the karmic roadblocksthat you face. and how this works is there is sort of a simple questionnaire, and ourspecialists review your answers and they find out what the karmic roadblocks are and werecommend the best juice for you. in the backend this is a methodology that combines a littlebit of vedic astrology, and some siddha diagnostic techniques, as well as some ayurvedic diagnostictechniques. now we have 4 doctors, 5 doctors on staff. we have 2 ayurveda doctors, and2 siddha doctors, and a western medical doctor who has sort of devised and created this methodology.and we wanted to put it out on our website so that people could take advantage of it.and why this actually applies to your karma is that since the mind and body are connected, whenever you eat or drink something particularly
something natural, of course, then it’sgoing to have an effect on the body and there are basically 3 constitutions in the body:fire, air, and water. and each food substance that you eat, cancreate and increase, or a decrease, or sort of an imbalance in these 3 elements in yourbody. so we went through and we kind of redesigned a new methodology based on the principlesof traditional healing, and we put it into this juice part of our site so that peoplecan take advantage of, you know, be able to drink juice that makes them to have more energy, that promotes weight loss if that’s what they are looking for, doesn’t give a bloatingeffect, or just general wellness, better cognitive, and more creative abilities. so all of this, all of these things that i just mentioned
actually can be affected by what you eat,and what you drink. so we wanted to give people a really practical way to interface with that, and be able to get a recommendation because everybody drinks juice, whether it’s a smoothiein the morning, or maybe you just have it for lunch, or you have it for breakfast, orfor something. it’s a common food item for most people all over the world particularlyin the west, and in the east. so i am inviting you to go and check that out. go ahead andenter in your details so we can help you pick the right juice that will make you feel youroptimum today. (42:50) and now a little bit about karma removal.so dr. pillai mentions that our herbs remove the karma in the body, and how that happensis since our herbs have the ability to work
with the energy body, and detoxify that energybody in the astral body, and we formulated the herbs for the chakras. so basically thepools of energy from your energy body are stored in your chakras, and the chakras aresort of cones of energy, pools of energy in certain areas of your body, each chakra holdsa set of sort of mental, psychological, physical traits, or characteristics, of the person.and when you are born, through vedic astrology, we can see where some of the blocks are inthe body based on some of the sort of behaviors and ways that we think, and even perform inday to day life. so what nambu botanicals does is our herbs help with the subtle body, help with the physical body, and remove karma that we have that’s stored in our physicalbody of course. so extra healing for the organs,
and for the tissue, for the cells, for ourbrain, but also on the subtle body’s side, we give protection and healing to the subtlebody which is body, the subtle body is where we also hold our karma, or where our karmacan enter us. and all karma really means is strong thoughtpatterns. originally it’s sort of this frequency, or vibration that comes to us that makes usthink a thought, and then from that though a whole chain of reactions happen from behaviorsto reactions, to relationships, to even financial success, to physical health, to where youlive. all of this is determined basically from a thought, and how you use your thoughtpatterns. so at nambu botanicals our herbs are formulatedwith particular phonemes, particular sounds,
and for a particular part of the body so thatwe can alleviate and help with that area, the characteristic, or trait that are storedin that part of the body called chakras. and change your thoughts, which subsequently changeyour actions, behavior that changes the things that we attract towards us. so that’s hownambu botanicals helps in karma removal. first line of chakra herbal supplements bynambu botanicals. so chakras are pools of energy, which i just mentioned, in the bodyand they hold certain characteristics, and feelings even. these feelings, or these beliefs, are of thought origin. basically they start with a though in our mind.in our dna we hold the genes of our parents, and we also hold the genes of our past lives.so it’s actually called soul genetics by
dr. pillai. in our past lives, and this life, all of the actions and the beliefs, the events, the emotions, they give us the tendency tothink and act in certain ways, and this is like an expression of our karma. so nambubotanicals formulates herbs that clean up the energy body. we formulate herbs with soundsthat actually clean up, and unblock the areas of the energy body, and allow the kundalinito flow, which is the rise of the energy in between these pools, called chakras. in doingthis it also releases us of our karmic tendencies, and like i said, unblocks certain areas.now we want to go over some of nambu botanicals supplements.this is definitely nambu botanicals foundational, corner stone, key formula. it’s with ecliptaalba, and it helps with memory, and concentration
giving us sort of a different level of focus.now i think, and i’ve read, that eclipta alba has a relationship with the enzyme andprotein the thalamus which is the part of the brain that controls our sensory perceptions.and i believe that it is within this relationship that eclipta alba, although it hasn’t beenscientifically proven, helps us form, have different sensory perceptions, whether itbe communication or vision in a mystical way. so not so much in the mundane, or traditionalway, or in the mundane way, but in a mystical way helps the connection with universal energies, having different kind of universal experiences. so it really help deepen a meditation, itgives us what i would consider to be a lot more hope for our meditations because we canreach that deeper state of concentration.
it also helps us with our awareness capacityfor judgement, and sort of the cognitive abilities. it reveals a higher state of consciousness, and it calms the mind from excessive activity. dr. pillai also refers to it, enlightenmentformula, affectionately, as the light body formula.and next we have the new hi health formula for the navel chakra. now this is turmericwith the phyto-active constituent called: curcumin, which there are so many benefitsof curcumin. you just google turmeric with curcumin, you’ll have pages and pages ofgoogle entries, some scientific, some traditional, some spiritual, about the benefits of turmeric.and we’ve put, - dr. pillai has made the choice to put this turmeric into the navelchakra and formulate it with a sound that
helps us with the navel chakra characteristicswhich are will power, confidence, self-esteem. it kind of gives us access to having morecourage to increase these traits, characteristics, even belief systems, in our body, and in ourmind. and he calls hi- health as really being the faith formula, or the belief formula.so turmeric for the physical body has powerful free radical fighting anti-oxidants, it maintainsthe health of the brain cells, it prevents cognitive decline, promotes a healthy liver, boost self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-trust, and promotes positivity. now this is a biggy.positivity is something that if we have kind of a resilience about us, then we can be reallypositive, and we can carry forth positivity in all of the aspects. and as soon as youhave positivity, you have more opportunities
that you are able to see, that you’re ableto take advantage of, whether it be events, or people. it just sort of penetrates intoall areas of our lives and super-sizes that area in a positive, benefiting way for us.hi-health, the new hi-health formula has a pepperine extract which is black pepper. thatcreates a 1000 time value of turmeric being absorbed into the body. so according to certainstudies that are out there, black pepper will increase the bio-availability of turmericin the digestive system, which allows us to interact with that phoneme even deeper. itgives us more access to the spiritual aspects of this herb, but also the physical aspectsof it as well, - with the free radical fighting, and anti-oxidants.our new formula is called: love & grace formula,
and it’s holy basil which is also knownas tulsi, and it’s for the heart chakra. dr. pillai named it love & grace for a reason.first of all the heart chakra we have the connection with love, and being able to givelove, and receive love, and love ourselves, and also grace, which i think is such a greatword. so grace is, what i find it kind of going towards is you know if you can openup that heart chakra,, and you can love a lot, then you really kind of attract grace,- the grace of god, the grace of other people, and you are able to be in this symbiotic relationshipwith blessings. blessings, receiving blessings, and sending blessings. so love & grace isjust the pinnacle name for the heart chakra. on the physical side, holy basil, or tulsi, protects against infection. it has this property
that reduces anxiety in us as well. so particularlyanxiety that is related to like a one particular thought, or a phobia, and tulsi has this ability,i don’t know exactly what the chemical process is, but this ability to relieve us of thatanxiety, and kind of calm us down which is hugely beneficial in the world we live in.it promotes the health of the heart, and of the lungs. and with the heat it kind of protectsthe tissues of the heart, reduces stress, promotes longevity and is anti-inflammatory.there’s another thing kind of interesting i read about tulsi and that is that you shouldtake it if you are a frequent traveler, and what it does is it kind of reduces the radiationthat we experience when we travel, whether it’s in the plane, or whether just goingto different cities. and there is just a natural
amount of radiation in the atmosphere anyway. the higher up you go the more radiation there is in some cases. so tulsi has thissuper-duper mystical property that actually reduces the radiation in us and kind of protectsour body, and makes us healthier in that way. that’s just one of the great benefits oftulsi. and next we come to hi-memory formula forthe 3rd eye chakra. so that’s the pineal gland. so the 3rd eye is right between thebrow, and if you go to back to the center of the brain and in the back is what is calledthe pineal gland. and the pineal gland is associated with all sorts of things, all sortsof ways that we think about time and space. so it’s an herb that can speed up our time,if we want to access that type of quality
in the herb it can – of course all of thethings about the 3rd eye opening, bacopa definitely can have a benefit with us to help sort ofcleanse the pineal gland so that awakening is possible. it improves memory, and that’sone of the most well-studied attribute of bacopa is this memory increasing, improvingmemory property. it combats stressful situations, or stress itself, it supports brain health, the mind, and the intellect, all sorts of things to do with the brain, and cognitivehealth. the kind of interesting thing too, about hi-memoryis that as i said, hi-memory has the herb called bacopa, which is brahmi. and brahmiis named after a god, brahma, and the goddess saraswati. it’s actually probably a littlebit better known for the goddess, properties
of it. the goddess saraswati controls learningand music, and higher levels of wisdom. so when i say controls, it’s more like shecan grant us access to educational models that are very high levels of wisdom. and shecan also give us an ability, and have an appreciation, and be able to use music.so i wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for listening to our 1st webinar onnambu botanicals, explaining about our formulas, and our company, and foundation and all ofthe sacredness that we have in crafting our formulas with dr. pillai’s blessings. andalso leave you with a free offer, a free gift. and that is from today until sunday evening, the february 28th, 2016, evening est, any purchase of 2 or more bottles, we will shipyou a bottle for enlightenment formula for
